Create Great Culture
in Tough Times

With Dave Newell

  • All the change that has taken place in the marine industry the past five years has created a lot of confusion in our dealerships.

You’ve heard the marketing phrase: “A confused mind doesn’t buy.” In culture, we like to say: “A confused mind doesn’t buy-in.”

This confusion can create real negative consequences. If employees, partners, and customers don’t know who you are, get what you stand for, and see consistency in how you operate, they are confused. They won’t buy-in, and you won’t see a culture that can weather the ups and downs you face in the marine industry. You may lose key people and see performance suffer.

Most leaders fall short by failing to effectively transfer the high-level design of their culture to day-to-day operations and behaviors.

During this session, organizational development consultant Dave Newell will provide you with a framework to help you design, establish, and deliver on the culture you need for your business to weather the ups and downs.

Specifically, you will learn how to bring your team together to unite around dealership success by mastering the key elements of culture – trust, company narrative, and behavior alignment.

Issues will never stop coming your way as a business leader. With a clear cultural framework and a set of behaviors to effectively carry it out, your culture and business will no longer suffer when things get hard.

    • Learn the most common cultural pitfalls – and how to avoid them

    • Understand the cornerstones of great company culture and how to build them

    • Pick-up the 3 elements of trust and discover how to design cultural behaviors that build trust and engagement

    • Gain techniques for establishing clear, repeatable, measurable behaviors that provide clarity for living your company values and elevate trust

    • And design a clear cultural message you can repeat that reinforces the company cultural narrative.
